India rejected the allegation of intervention in Canada elections, Ministry of External Affairs gave this reply

Canada accused India that some foreign governments are interfering in the Canadian elections, including India. Canada has said these things with an investigation. However, a strong reaction has been given by India to this allegation of Canada. The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) has targeted Canada on this issue.

India’s reply to Canada

India strongly rejected the allegations against him in a Canadian commission report on Tuesday night. The Commission had investigated the allegations that some foreign governments are interfering in the Canadian elections. The Ministry of External Affairs reacted strongly that it rejects the ‘attacks’ of the report on India. He said that Canada is ‘continuously intervene’ in India’s internal affairs. The Ministry of External Affairs said, “We have seen a report about alleged intervention related activities but Canada is constantly interfering in India’s internal affairs.”

India accuses Canada

According to Canadian media reports, the Commission investigated allegations of intervention in elections against China, Russia and others. India’s statement shared by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “In fact it is Canada that is constantly interfering in India’s internal affairs. It has also created an atmosphere for illegal migration and organized criminal activities. . ” According to the statement, “We dismiss all the allegations made in the report on India and hope that the assistance system enabling illegal migration will not be supported further.”

Did Canada accuse India

Canadian newspaper The Globe & Mail alleged that New Delhi used proxy agents to provide “secret financial assistance” to the candidates of three political parties in the election. In this case, PM Justin Trudeau nominated Justice Mary-Jos Hogg in September 2023 to lead the Commission to investigate allegations of interference in elections by China, Russia and others. In June last year, a report was released by Canada’s National Security and Intelligence Parliamentary Committee.
