A family student has been shot dead in Canada. The student has been identified as Harsimrat Randhawa. Harsimrat Kaur Randhawa’s family has urged the central government to bring his body back to India. Harsimrat Randhawa’s family has claimed that he was shot in Golibari between two gangs in the port city of Hamilton.
The family said in a statement, “She had gone to Canada about two years ago for her studies and was going out for her daily routine when the incident happened. During the clash between the two groups, there was a firing and a bullet hit her, killing her.
The family of Harsimrat, who hails from Dhunda village in Tarn Taran district of Punjab, has appealed to the government to expedite the process of bringing back his body.

Hamilton Police Service confirmed that S Harsimrat was murdered on the evening of 17 April. Hamilton police said in a statement that it was reported to be firing near Upper James and South Bend Road in Hamilton at around 7.30 pm local time. When the police reached there, he found Randhawa with a wound of bullet in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital, but died.
According to the police, Harsimrat was studying at Mohock College, Hamilton. The police is currently in the investigation of this entire case. According to the police, a car rider opened fire on Harsimrat. The incident happened when Harsimrat was waiting for the bus at a bus stop.

The college said in a statement, “In this difficult time our condolences are with his family and friends. As a member of the Mohok College Community, we know that this loss is felt by many. We will make every effort to support Harsimrat’s friends, family and comprehensive college community.”
