This situation has happened after President Donald Trump took oath on January 20, as his administration has indicated strict immigration rules.
International students in the US on F-1 visas can work on campus up to 20 hours a week, but many students work off-campus in restaurants, gas stations, retail stores to cover essential expenses. However, students are now leaving such jobs to secure their future.

Arjun, a graduate student in Illinois, said, “After college, I used to work in a small cafe to meet my monthly expenses. I used to earn $7 per hour and worked six hours every day.
