Such mega-disaster films often end the careers of actors and even bankrupt the makers. Today we will talk about one such film which has got the title of the worst film of lifetime. We are talking about the film Adipurush. When you have a pan India star like Prabhas, a director who has made the National Award winning blockbuster Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and the project is backed by India’s top production house: T-Series, the expectations skyrocket.
However, when the teaser of Adipurush was released, the audience understood that the film would be of low quality and the makers were trying to take advantage of the trust of the audience. Adipurush is based on the Indian epic Ramayana but the cinematic verse seems to follow a completely different line from the source.

Adipurush was released in theaters on June 16, 2023. The film took a strong start thanks to the fan following of Umeed and Prabhas. However, negative word-of-mouth ruined the film badly. Strange dialogues, anything in the name of visualization, the creative freedom of the makers ruined the entire color of Ramayana. The audience started trolling the film on social media.
