The 19th match of the league between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants will no longer be on 6 April. The BCCI has changed the schedule for security reasons. According to the press release issued by the IPL, the Kolkata Police had requested the Bengal Cricket Association due to the deployment of security personnel across the city due to the festival, after which the board has taken this decision. The officials had requested that the match be rested on 8 April. Apart from this, no change has been made in the rest of the schedule. Now this match will be held on April 8 at 3:30 pm.
Let me tell you, on Sunday 6 April, there will be only one match. Earlier, two matches were to be held on this day. On April 6, now Sunrisers Hyderabad will compete with Gujarat Titans from 7:30 pm, as already determined. On Tuesday, April 8 will be a double-header match, with Kolkata vs Lucknow in the afternoon, after which according to the schedule, Punjab Kings will host Chennai Super Kings in the evening match in Sham Chadigarh.
