Ishaan Kishan was earlier part of Mumbai Indians and is recognized for his explosive batting. He made his IPL debut in 2016 and has since scored 2644 runs in 105 innings with 16 half -centuries. His aggressive batting has been the most beneficial for the team in the powerplay. However, Mumbai Indians released him before the 2025 season, after which SRH included him in his team.
