According to the report of The Indian Express, the BCCI has kept all its options for the 18th season of IPL amidst the ongoing relationship between India and Pakistan. Which includes permission in the tournament program from amendment to stop the league.
According to the report, a big decision will be taken today on IPL 2025. BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla says, ‘We are keeping a close watch on the current situation. The board is also taking advice from the government on this issue. Tomorrow the final decision will be taken on the IPL.
Taking forward his point, he said, ‘The situation is changing day by day. Whatever will be told to us. We will do that and make our stakeholders aware of the matter. Currently, our effort is on the safety of all our players, fans and stakeholders.
58 matches have ended
The IPL 2025 started on 22 March. Since then, 58 matches of the tournament have ended till the news is written. The league stage still has 12 matches left. After that the playoffs will be played. The tournament is going to conclude with the final match on 25 May.
