Talking about this, Puri Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain said that a review meeting was held with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). In this regard, ASI has said that repair work is being delayed due to excessive crowd of devotees.

Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain has said that it will take 45 to 60 days to end this work. The temple administration and archeology departments are doing this entire work very carefully. The collector of Puri said that the coming days will be reviewed once again so that the ASI can get this work done for 4 to 5 hours daily.
