Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan shared the screen space for the first time in Rakesh Roshan’s 1995 film Karan Arjun. The actor did not become a superstar then and had a good friendship with each other. But to harass the people around them, both of them pretended to fight and hate each other. In a recent conversation, actor Johnny Lever revealed about the relationship between the two. Johnny was also in an important role in the film. Recalling an incident during the making of the film, Johnny said that when Salman took out a gun to shoot Shah Rukh, all the people around him were just shocked.
In a conversation with Galatta India, Johnny said that he was shooting for the film in Jaipur and every day Salman used to draw Shah Rukh’s leg on something or the other thing. He told that he was very worried that Shah Rukh could be angry and the matter may increase between the two. He said, “Everyone, including me, was worried that Shah Rukh can take these things to the heart.” Every night, after shooting, the unit used to party together and there was a debate between Shah Rukh and Salman at one such party. Remembering, he said, “Suddenly Salman took out the gun and we all heard the sound of firing and then we saw Shahrukh falling on the ground.” Johnny said that all the people present there shouted loudly and soon Shah Rukh stood up and he started laughing. Honey Irani, the writer present there, could not even believe what he saw. He told, “Shahrukh stood up and both of them started laughing.”
Both Shah Rukh and Salman later said about their behavior during Karan Arjun’s making. Salman, while referring to his mischief in AAP court, said how he bought a fake gun. “I told Shahrukh, I will call you for dance, you will refuse, and then we will scramble, and here is an empty gun. I will shoot you and you will fall. Shahrukh said that he is not in the mood, he was tired. ” He remembered and said, “My brother Sohail was there. I pulled Shahrukh’s hand and he shook my hand. He pushed me and I also pushed him, scrambled, I took out the gun and fired on it. Shahrukh did acrobatics and fell. ”
At the same time, Shah Rukh apologized for his behavior in an episode of Roshan and admitted that Salman and he harassed Rakesh Roshan during the shooting. “Pinky ji scolded me a lot.” You are very upset with Guddu (Rakesh), I did not expect such. We were two young children who were honest to be harassing a father. ”
