Kabir Khan reached Mahakumbh

New Delhi:
Film director Kabir Khan visited Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday (January 28). He expressed his happiness about attending the holy event and taking a dip at Sangam Ghat. Kabir, director of films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Chandu Champion and 83, spoke to news agency ANI when he reached the Mahakumbh Mela. He said, “I am very excited. It happens once in 12 years. I have heard that there is a lot of crowd here but I will see how it is … I come here and feel lucky. I will stay here for days. I will also take a dip in the holy confluence. ”

Kabir, a 56 -year -old Kabir, dismissed the question of going to the Kumbh Mela despite being a Muslim, saying, “These things are not about Hindu and Muslim. These are our origin, our country and our civilization. If you do not think that you are Indian then you should feel everything. ” According to the report on Sunday, more than 110 million devotees have come to the Mahakumbh, which started with Paush Purnima on 13 January, who took a holy bath in Prayagraj in the first fortnight.

The confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and now extinct Saraswati rivers, through the holy bath, remains an important spiritual site for pilgrims looking for purification and salvation. On January 29, in anticipation of Mauni Amavasya, the Prayagraj Railway Division has run more than 150 special trains to accommodate the arrival of pilgrims coming to the Mahakumbh Mela.
