Kho Kho World Cup 2025: The Indian men’s team has secured a place in the quarterfinals with a 70-38 win over Peru in the Khokhlo World Cup here on Wednesday (January 15, 2025). Continuing the great momentum in the tournament, the Indian team demonstrated its strategic superiority by giving a dominant performance. The host team scored 36 points in the first round under the leadership of Wazir Prateek Waikar. After that his dominance continued in all the turns and the score reached 70.

Indian women’s team beats Iran

The Indian women’s team, which had given a crushing defeat to South Korea in its previous match, has entered the quarterfinals of the Khokho World Cup with a spectacular 100-16 victory over Iran on Wednesday. Strong contender Indian team remains on top in its group with this easy victory.

India had scored 50 points in the first turn thanks to Ashwini and Meenu. The team continued its excellent performance in all four turns. The best attacker was Mobina, the best defender was Meenu and the best player of the match was captain Priyanka Ingle.

In the last match, Indian women’s team defeated South Korea by a long margin.

Earlier, on Tuesday (January 14, 2025), the Indian women’s team had shown its complete dominance against South Korea and achieved a spectacular victory of 175-18.

During the match, Korea had no answer to the ‘dream run’ and defensive strategy of the Indian team. Chaitra B, Meeru and captain Priyanka Ingle created the atmosphere for India with consecutive ‘dream runs’, due to which both the initial batches of the team scored one point each.
