The Russian-Ukraine war seems to be a decisive turn. Russia claims that the Ukrainian army has been driven out of more than 86 per cent of their occupied area in Kursk. After dominating the Kursk, Jailonsky was sure that there would be a lead for Ukraine on the conversation table. But now Ukraine is losing its penetration in the cushion area. Moscow claims that Kiev’s forces are retreating. Along with the results of Kursk, defeat in Ukraine’s war is also being predicted.
President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday traveled in the Western Kursk region of Russia. Putin, who arrived in the military uniform, surprised everyone. The tour is the first time after the Ukrainian army captured some areas of the region. He ordered the army to move forward rapidly and withdraw the remaining area from Ukrainian forces rapidly.
‘Ukrainian soldiers caught in Kursk for Russia’
Putin’s visit took place at a time when Washington asked Russia to consider a 30 -day ceasefire proposal after a conversation with Ukraine. At the same time, Putin has said that Russia will consider Ukrainian soldiers caught in Kursk region as terrorists. He also said that foreign mercenar soldiers do not come under the purview of Geneva Convention. This means that they will not be considered as a prostration nor Russia will take human behavior towards them.
Earlier, a video was also shared by the Russian media, in which the residents of the Kursk region were said to be emotional after Putin’s army arrived. The video claimed that after liberating a village, the elderly woman thanked the Russian soldiers and said, ‘Our soldiers have come’

Ukraine surprised the world, now he got a shock
In the chairs in which the Nazi army lost, the Ukrainian army captured and surprised the world. The Russian-Ukraine’s war, which started in February 2022, again entered the Ukraine Cush. After about 81 years, this was the occasion when a foreign army was able to enter the Russian region. Last year, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers entered Russia’s Kursk region.

Nazi’s army attacked Russia on 22 June 1941 through ‘Operation Barbrosa’ while breaking the treaty of Hitler-Stalin during World War II. But the cold cold and the strong uplift of the Soviet army had pushed the Nazis back. After this, Hitler launched the army to win Russia during the summer season. This time the army attacked in Kursk.

This fight was the ‘biggest tank fight in history’ in 1943 during July-August. But the results were no longer in favor of the Nazis and the Soviet army defeated German. In history, it was called a historical mistake to the Nazis, which broke the backbone of the German army. It is also considered a decisive turn for Hitler’s defeat in World War II. This step of Jailonski also seems to be proved to be like Hitler’s historical mistake.
What will be Putin’s next bet now?
For the first time, Putin’s army had to face insults when the Russian army came back from the Ukrainian capital in March 2022. Subsequently, on August 2024, the Ukrainian Army also announced the establishment of a military administration in the occupied parts of Kursk Oblast. At the same time, many experts believe that even though Russia claims to chase the Ukrainian army, it has proved Putin weak all over the world.
