Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will present the first budget of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Delhi on Tuesday after 27 years. He has the charge of Finance Ministry. While attending the ‘Kheer’ function held in the Delhi Assembly premises, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that such a ceremony was organized for the first time in the history of Delhi Assembly. He said, “Under the leadership of PM Modi, BJP is presenting the budget of Delhi after 27 years. Just as Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, similarly we have returned after 27 years. On this occasion, we offered kheer to Lord Rama, which symbolizes the sweetness of Delhi’s development.

I am confident that when the Chief Minister presents the budget, it will include benefits for all sections of the society – whether it is young, women, laborers or businessmen.

Virendra Sachdeva said that I am confident that special attention will be paid to education and health in this budget. This will be a budget based on public suggestions. At the same time, BJP will surround AAP on the issue of corruption and will seek answers from the Comptroller and CAG on the functioning of DTC during 10 years of rule in the city.
