Maharashtra: Shinde-Fadnavis’s ‘wrangling’ will make both Shiv Sena one? Know why this discussion is

New Delhi :
The process of dramatic developments started in the politics of Maharashtra 5 years ago is not taking the name of stopping. Benjamin Franklin, one of the foundations of America, wrote in his autobiography: “As soon as a party achieves its general purpose, the attention of each of his members goes to his personal interests, which affects other people. And that party comes into a state of more confusion by being a victim of partition. ”

His words written about two hundred and fifty years ago match the political scenario of today’s Maharashtra, ever since the results of the assembly elections have come, there have been reports of differences between the components of Mahayuti. Now the recent statement of Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has further emphasized the discussions of the rift between Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Shinde suspected of tapping phone: Raut

Raut wrote in Saamana that in his flight, an MLA from the co-priest Shiv Sena told that Eknath Shinde is angry with Fadnavis and has gone into a state of meditation. The MLA told Raut that Amit Shah had assured Shinde that the election would be fought under his leadership and he would be made the Chief Minister, but it did not happen despite spending heavily. According to Raut, the MLA also told that Shinde suspects that central agencies are tapping his phone.

Raut further writes that Shinde is irritated by his MLAs and is not taking interest in government work, which is clearly reflected in his official meetings. He wrote that Fadnavis is feeling insecure with Shinde’s ambition to become the Chief Minister and that is why he has increased his proximity to Ajit Pawar, who is satisfied with the post of Deputy Chief Minister.

Shiv Sena section in favor of returning home: Raut

According to Raut, most of Shinde’s MLAs are loyal to Fadnavis and are planning to accept his leadership directly by joining BJP. A section of Shiv Sena is in favor of “homecoming”, but is not openly expressing it due to fear from central agencies.

Raut’s claims are rejecting the claims of his imagination, but the recent statement of Sanjay Shirsat, a minister and Shinde in the Mahayuti government, reinforces Raut’s claims to some extent. Shirsat said that now the time has come that both the groups of Shiv Sena become united and it is unfortunate that the party is divided. He offered to bring Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray on one platform.

However, Eknath Shinde soon dismissed this statement as a media misunderstanding, but it has created a stir in the politics of Maharashtra. Many incidents have taken place since the formation of Mahayuti government, which strengthens the statements of Raut and Shirsat.

Shinde camp is feeling cheated!

First Shinde did not get the post of Chief Minister, then the post of Home Ministry was also not given. After this, he was also kept away from the posts of Nashik and Raigad’s patron ministers, which made his camp felt that he did not get justice in the coalition. In addition, Fadnavis overturned some decisions taken during Shinde’s Chief Minister’s tenure or put an investigation on them, which worsened the situation. Recently, BJP Minister Ganesh Naik set up a Janata Darbar in Thane, which is considered to be Shinde’s stronghold.

Maharashtra has been a witness to political upheaval since the 2019 elections. In these five years, the state saw three chief ministers, there were revolts in two parties and many veteran leaders went to jail. This political saga of Maharashtra is still going on.
