In Delhi’s Sunlight Colony, a young woman has allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the roof. The police have identified the deceased girl as 20 -year -old Priyalakshmi Devi Khangibam. Priyalakshmi was a resident of Vishnupur district of Manipur. She was living with her roommate Marina on the third floor of house number C-43 in Kilokari area of ​​Delhi since October 2024 last year. Both used to work in Energizer, a BPO company in Noida.

According to the police, a dead body was reported lying near the Gupta store near Maharani Park via PCR call at 6:22 am on Saturday. During the investigation of the incident, when the police examined the CCTV footage installed around the scene, the girl went to the roof and was seen leaping from there.

Police searched the deceased’s room in the presence of the district crime team, from where a suicide note has been recovered in his mobile phone. In that note, he has mentioned his emotional pain, doubting himself and mental tiredness. In this suicide note, he has expressed a sense of failure, loneliness and purposelessness in his life. Police have informed the family of the deceased. The body is preserved in the AIIMS morchary for post -mortem, and the process of post -mortem will be done in the presence of the family.
