In the capital Dhaka, the discussion of the coup has started again in Bangladesh due to several other reasons including deployment of army, emergency meeting of military officers, protest of students. Meanwhile, Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh, reached Henan Province in China on Wednesday evening. Bangladesh’s Ambassador to China Mohammad Najmul Islam and the Lieutenant Governor of Hainan welcomed him at the Kingi Boao International Airport.
Posting on the social media platform X, Yunus’s office wrote, “Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus reached Hannan in China at 4:15 pm on Wednesday. Bangladesh’s China Ambassador Mohammad Najmul Islam and Hanan Province’s Deputy Governor welcomed him at the Kunnai Boao International Airport.”
During this visit, high -level discussion is expected to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and China, especially to strengthen cooperation in the areas of trade, investment and regional development. The chief advisors of the interim government in Bangladesh lead the government.
Earlier on Wednesday, officials of Bangladesh Foreign Ministry said that Yunus will hold bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping on March 28 during this visit. During his visit to China, both countries will sign some agreements. Earlier this month, Chinese Ambassador Yao Wayne met Mohammad Yunus in Dhaka.
Yao Wayne said that China’s upcoming official visit to the Chief Advisor would be the most important in two ‘reliable’ and a 50 -year -old relationship between close friends.
Yunus will give a speech on the subject of ‘Asia in a Changing World: Towards a Shered Future’. The Chinese Executive Deputy Prime Minister will also join him during the session. The ambassador said that one of the top educational institutions in the world, Peking University will provide honorary doctorate to Professor Younus.
