This announcement has been made after the moon appears. The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated at the end of the month of Ramadan and it falls on the first date of the month of Islamic calendar.
Lucknow Idgah Imam Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali said that the moon is visible today i.e. on March 30 and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on 31 March. Namaz will be performed at 10 am in Lucknow Idgah.
