Mumbai Police in action, arrested 16 Bangladeshi citizens living illegally

Action has been taken by the Maharashtra Police against Bangladeshis living illegally in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested 16 Bangladeshi citizens for illegally entering India and living in the country without appropriate documents. The officers provided this information.

Necessary instructions were given to take action against illegal Bangladeshi intruders. Dongri police station formed 14 teams, after which a search operation was carried out.

Mumbai’s Dongri police station arrested 16 Bangladeshi citizens from Mankhurd, Vasi Naka, Kalyan, Mumbra, Kalamboli, Panvel, Kokrakharanne area.

An official said that the Maharashtra Anti -Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested nine Bangladeshi citizens from Mumbai, Nashik, Nanded and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in the last four days with the help of local police.

The process of arrest of Bangladeshi citizens continues in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Police on Wednesday arrested two Bangladeshi citizens.

This action was taken by Meera Bhayandar Vasai Virar Police (MBVV) Police Anti -Trafficking Cell (AHTC). He arrested two Bangladeshi women. Both had been living illegally in Meera Road without passport and visa for the last 20 years.
