The great batsman Sachin Tendulkar believes that partnership always grows with confidence and he told in Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday that he knew how to control a player to get his best performance. Tendulkar, the player who scored the most runs in cricket in Tests and ODIs, was present at the ‘Rashtrapati Bhavan Discussion Series’ conference on Thursday where eminent celebrities share their lives with people. Tendulkar was a guest of President Draupadi Murmu where this player presented him with his signature Indian Test jersey. This star was accompanied by his wife Anjali and daughter Sara.

He narrated stories about his play days to the audience. Tendulkar said that every team has different types of players and it is necessary to understand them to get them best. He remembered, “Talking about Sehwag, I used to work contrary to what he wanted from him. So I wanted Veeru to a few overs for a few overs, so I used to tell him that ‘Veeru go and blow the bowlers. Tendulkar has come to Rashtrapati Bhavan several times to receive the award but this was the first time he came as a guest of the President.
