*Indian Army’s OP Brahma: Rapid Hadr Deployment in Myanmar*
After the devastation caused by the earthquake in Myanmar, now India is also busy in helping Myanmar in every way and a special rescue team of the 50 (I) Para Brigade under Operation Brahma has been immediately deployed in Myanmar. The team with doctors and 118 personnel reached the P Tav International Airport in Myanmar on the night of 29 March 2025. This operation is led by Commander of 50 (I) Para Brigade.
On reaching Myanmar, the team was welcomed by Raksha Athe (DM) and Navy Athe (NA) of Myanmar along with the Indian Ambassador to Myanmar. The work of unloading the essential goods and equipment continued till 12.30 pm, after which the team went to a specified port area located 45 minutes from the airport.
