Sensex June 2025 Changes: Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has announced on May 22 that there is going to be major changes in BSE Sensex with 30 companies. Now Nestle India and Indusind Bank will be removed from the Sensex. They will be replaced by Tata Group company Trent and Government Defense Company Bharat Electronics Limited-Bel. These changes will be applicable from June 23 from the time of trading.
Nestle and Indusind Bank will be out
The BSE said that under the new stact of Sensex, FMCG sector veteran Nestle India and private sector bank Indusind are being excluded. These companies will no longer be part of the list of 30 major companies. Trent and BEL are being replaced by them.
Why is the entry of Trent and BEL special?
Trent, Tata Group has a retail company that runs brands like Westdeide. At the same time, BEL is a public sector company related to the defense of the Government of India. Both of them join the Sensex suggests that growth in retail and defense sector is expected.
Not just Sensex, changes in the rest of the index
BSE has announced many major changes not only in the Sensex, but also in the rest of its major index. Talking about the BSE 100 index, it will now include Dixon Technologies, Coforge and Indus Towers. At the same time, Bharat Forge, Dabur India and Siemens will be removed from this list.
What changed in Sensex 50 index?
Two new companies have also entered the BSE Sensex 50 index. Now it will include India’s largest airline Indigo operating Interglobe Aviation and Sriram Finance. Instead, Britannia Industries and Hero Motocorp have been excluded.

The Sensex Next 50 index is now involved in Britannia, Dixon Technologies, Coforge, Hero Motocorp and Indus Towers. Whereas Interglobe Aviation, Sriram Finance, Bharat Forge, Dabur India (Dabur India) and Siemens will be excluded from this index.
Changes in bank index also
The benchmark bankex with BSE banking sector has also changed. Now it will have an entry of IDFC First Bank, while Canara Bank will be excluded.
