In the US, President Donald Trump’s administration has implemented a new rule, according to which every immigrant will now have to keep its legal documents with them 24 hours. Its purpose is to crack down at illegal immigration and millions of people living illegally out of the country. This rule has come into effect from 11 April. The White House announced that all foreign nationals living in the country for more than 30 days will have to register with the federal government. If they do not do so, they will have to face fines, jail and exile. This announcement has raised concern among immigrant communities across the US.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Lewitt said, “All foreign nationals living in the US for more than 30 days will have to register with the federal government. It is a crime not to follow it for which there is a fine, imprisonment or provision of both.” Lewitt said, “If this is not done, you will be arrested, a fine will be imposed, will be deported and you will never be able to return to our country.” This instruction is based on the decades -old Alien Registration Act of Second World War. It is appointed by Trump, US District Judge Traver N. Following McFaden’s decision, the green signal was given, which rejected the legal challenge of advocacy groups
Which rules will have to take care of
Compulsory registration: All non-citizens above the age of 14, who live in the US for 30 days or more, have to register with the government using “Form G-325R”. Parents will have to register for children under 14 years of age.
Which documents need: Those who reach America on or after 11 April will have to register within 30 days of arrival. Not compliance can cause fines, imprisonment or both.
Address change: Individuals who change their address will have to report within 10 days, not to do so may cause a possible fine of up to $ 5,000.
Re-registration: Children aged 14 will have to do re-registration within 30 days and submit fingerprints.
This new rule affects immigrants who are living in America illegally or without valid documents. Now all non-citizens, which are over 14 years of age and stay in the US for 30 days or more, will have to register with the government by filling the form G-325R for 30 days or more in the US.

illegal immigrant: The new rule mainly affects immigrants without documents, who will have to register and keep documents together.
Valid immigrants: Those who have a valid visa (work or study) or those who have a green card are already considered registered and will not need to fill the form again. However, he will have to keep documents with him all the time.
