Akshay Kumar is in the news these days for his upcoming film Skyforce, which is going to be released on January 24. Veer Pahadia is going to be seen debuting in the film. The trailer of the film has also been released yesterday, which is getting love from the fans. But apart from the trailer, Akshay Kumar has shared a heart touching picture, in which his niece Simar Bhatia is seen. The photo is of a newspaper, in which there is mention of his niece’s debut film Ikkis. Sriram Raghavan is going to direct the film, in which there are reports of Agastya Nanda also being involved. The story of Ikkis is based on the background of the 1971 war, which is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal.

Akshay Kumar wrote in the caption with his photo, I remember when I saw my photo on the cover of the newspaper for the first time. I felt that this was the greatest happiness. But today I know that the joy of seeing my child’s picture here is greater than anything. I wish my mother was here today and she would say ‘Simar puttar tu teh amazing’. My blessing is my child, the sky is yours. As soon as this photo was shared, fans started sharing heart emojis.

It is noteworthy that Jio Studios and Maddock Films had released the trailer of ‘Sky Force’, which showed a glimpse of India’s first and one of the deadliest air strikes on Pakistan. The 2 minute 48 second trailer of ‘Sky Force’ takes the audience on an exciting journey into one of India’s most daring and untold military operations. Along with Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahadia, actresses Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan also play important roles in the film. The film ‘Sky Force’, which pays tribute to the unsung heroes of India, has been directed by Sandeep Kewalani and Abhishek Kapoor. Whereas, the production has been done by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Amar Kaushik. The film will be released in theaters on 24 January 2025.
