‘No such huge gathering in the world’, CM Yogi at the conclusion of Mahakumbh

The formal conclusion of Mahakumbh in Prayagraj is taking place today. On this occasion, CM Yogi reached Prayagraj, where he was seen cleaning at the Arail Ghat of Ganga. CM Yogi Adityanath said, “Mahakumbh has given many circuits of spiritual tourism inside Uttar Pradesh. Just as there was a complete gathering in Prayagraj from 13 January to 26 February …. Crores of people arrived here daily. Similarly, there used to be between 10 and 15 lakh devotees in the Dham of Kashi Vishwanath. There was a circuit of Ayodhya and Gorakhpur. From January 1, 2 lakh to two and a half lakh devotees reached Gaurakhpur daily.

He said, “This such huge gathering of faith has never happened inside the world and there is no anywhere. 66 crore 30 lakh devotees should be a part of an event, where no kidnapping incident, no incident of robbery, incident of molestation … No incident happened about which no one can say anything.

CM Yogi Adityanath said, “On the day of Mauni Amavasya, a tragic incident took place and we have condolences to all those family members, but an attempt was being made to defame Prayagraj by connecting the incident of any other place.

He said, “Whatever Prayagraj came, he appreciated the cleanliness and sanitation workers and whoever came to Prayagraj has praised the police in Prayagraj. All the workers in all the departments of the Uttar Pradesh government worked to organize it by organizing it in their home and gave a new height of success”.

Special role of scavengers in successful organization of Mahakumbh

Mahakumbh was also in the discussion about his cleanliness, in which sanitation workers played an important role. At the Mahakumbh Mela, Dr. Anand Singh, in-charge of cleanliness, told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that 15,000 sanitation workers were on duty round the clock in the entire fair. In many shifts, he took responsibility for cleanliness and kept the toilets and ghats completely clean in the fair, all appreciated his works.
