What answer was given by Assam CM to Mohammad Yunus
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote in his X post that the statement of Mohammad Yunus of the so -called interim government of Bangladesh, in which the Sister State of the Northeast India is described as surrounded and Bangladesh has been introduced as his patron, derogatory and extremely condemnable. Dangerous suggestions have been made to cut the Northeast from the important route. Therefore, it is necessary to develop more strong railway and road networks under and around the chicken neck corridor. Priority should be given to the discovery of alternative roadways connecting the northeast to the mainland India, bypassing the chicken neck effectively.

PM Modi’s economic advisor shared video
Sanjeev Sanyal, a member of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Economic Advisory Council, posted this video on ‘X’ and questioned why Yunus mentioned the northeast region of India. He said, “It is interesting that Yunus is making public appeal to the Chinese on the basis that seven states of India are surrounded by land.
