Pahalgam terror attack increased the difficulties of this film, people said- will not let it be released

New Delhi:
There is anger among people across the country over the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistan government expressed concern over the loss of life and property in this attack, but refrained from calling it a ‘terrorist act’ or condemning it. After this reaction of the neighboring country, the anger of the people is now bursting on Pakistani artists. In this episode, people are now demanding to ban Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s film ‘Abir Gulal’. The film is releasing in theaters on 9 May 2025.

But angry people are appealing to boycott their film. One user wrote in his tweet- ‘Will we still let the Pakistani artist’ Abir Gulal ‘be released in India?’ At the same time, another user wrote- ‘Abir Gulal will not be allowed to be released in India.’

Another user wrote- ‘Baycott the films of Pakistani artists. On the one hand they are killing our people and on the other side Bollywood is making films with them. “Abir Gulal ‘is a romantic cross border film. In this, the border is shown to be the lovingstory. The film stars Fawad Khan’s opposite Vani Kapoor. Apart from these, Soni Razdan, Farida Jalal, Lisa Hayden and Rahul Vohra are in the lead roles. The film is directed by Aarti S. Bagdi.

This is not the first time Fawad Khan is facing people’s anger. Earlier, he has faced similar difficulties at the time of the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. In 2016, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ was released. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as well as Fawad were in the lead role. There was a Uri attack about a month before the release of the movie, after which Pakistani artists were banned in India. However, it was later removed.
