The process of returning of Afghan citizens living illegally in Pakistan is going on continuously and by March 20, more than eight lakh people have been sent back to their country. An official gave this information. An official said that the Government of Pakistan has fixed the time limit of March 31, under which people living illegally and Afghan civil card holders will have to leave the country. Under this, 8,74,282 Afghans have been sent back from Pakistan so far. The government has taken this step due to concerns related to terrorism.
The officer assured that no one would be abused in this process. He informed that food and health facilities have been completed for people returning to Afghanistan. The official said that strict legal action will be taken against people living illegally in Pakistan after the scheduled time limit. Meanwhile, Afghan Foreign Minister Aamir Khan Mottaki on Thursday called upon other countries of the world to send back Afghan refugees back.
