Shah Rukh Khan has excited the fans from his much wide film King. The film is not yet on the floor, but is expected to be released in 2026. However, the film was initially planned to premiere in Eid 2026. But the latest report says that due to the ongoing production obstacles, it can be avoided once again. The shooting of King, which is going to be made under the direction of Siddharth Anand, was to start in May 2025 but the schedule has been extended once again.

According to a Mid Day report, the delay in starting shooting is due to changes in scripting process. It is being told that Shah Rukh is unhappy with the script and wants to make it perfect before stepping on the set, so that the film can be visited before the shooting starts.

A source told the entertainment portal, “Scripting work is going on. The makers want to keep in mind that they have a great script before the camera starts. King is not only presenting Suhana on the big screen for the first time, but also presenting the father-daughter pair together. Shah Rukh wants to take these things and make a tremendous film, keeping these things in mind. Planning to start shooting in July-August. “

Earlier, Peepingmoon had said that Deepika Padukone has been selected for the cameo in this upcoming film. It is being told that Deepika has been signed for the role of Suhana Khan’s mother in the action film. Apart from Shahrukh and Suhana, the film also stars Munjya fame Abhay Verma. It is believed that Abhishek Bachchan can be seen in the role of Villain.
