Pakistan Ministers Salary Hike: The Pakistani government has approved a huge increase of 188 percent in the salary of cabinet ministers, state ministers and advisors. The salaried class is burdened with high taxation, job missing, inflation, high fuel cost, high power price etc.
Pakistan ministers will now get 5.19 lakh salary every month
According to the latest announcement, ministers and advisors will now get Rs 5,19,000 per month. Sharif has been calling on Pakistanis to curb their expenses due to excessive taxes. He has been saying that this is a period of recovery for the country.
Two months ago, the salary of senators increased
However, the 188 percent increase in salary of ministers and advisors has raised serious questions on the intention of the government. Two months ago, the salaries and allowances of all members of the National Assembly (MNA) and the Senate (Upper House) of Pakistan were increased in Parliament.
Prime Minister Sharif has recently increased the number of his federal cabinet to 51. The initial number of members of the federal cabinet was 21, which was later increased to 43.
Local people angry due to increase in salary of ministers
A local resident in Islamabad said, “Earlier, he did not know what, they claim that they would not fill in their cabinet, but later they started doing the same. We all started doing the same. We all have to press with taxes, job loss and inflation burden and increase the number of members of the cabinet and then give them 188 percent salary.”

Another local person criticized Shahbaz Sharif, saying, “I don’t think more open, clear and disturbing can be something that claims and promises should be made first and then everything should be suppressed by implementing such decisions. It is very surprising.”
