
Peter Lever Died aged 84: A bad news is coming out from the England cricket team. Former fast bowler Peter Lever has died. He breathed his last at the age of 84. Lever is remembered for his best performance in the Ashes series against Australia in 1970-71. During that time, he played an important role in winning the victory by bowling well for his team.
While attending 1975 against Australia, Lever bowled the best of his Test career. In the Melbourne Test, he spent just 38 runs and took six wickets.
We are deeply saddened by the news that Peter Lever has passed Away, AGED 84.
Peter was inducted into hall of fame last year after Playing 301 First -Class Matches Between 1960 and 1976 – Taking 796 wickets.

In this year i.e. in 1975, the liver also made headlines for one of his fast -paced bouncers. During that time, he used a fast -paced bouncer against New Zealand player Evn Chatfield in a Test match being played in Auckland.
The result was that he was admitted to the hospital under an emergency situation due to the ball of chatfield. After which the liver himself was scared for some time.
Referring to the incident, he had said, ‘When I saw him staring, I felt that I killed him. I was feeling ashamed of myself. After returning to the pavilion, I was just thinking that I should retire from cricket.
Peter Lever’s International Cricket Career
Talk about Peter Lever’s International Cricket Career, he managed to play a total of 17 Tests and 10 ODIs for his team. During this time, he got 41 success in 31 innings of Tests at an average of 36.80 and 11 in nine innings of ODIs at an average of 23.72.
