PM Modi can go on visit to America on February 12, talks with Donald Trump: Sources

Prime Minister Narendra Modi can visit America on 12 February. Sources in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) gave this information. This will be PM Modi’s first visit to America after Donald Trump’s historic comeback in White House. According to sources, after the two -day visit of PM Modi Paris, Washington will leave for DC but so far no official announcement has been made about it.

Prime Minister Modi will also be involved in some foreign leaders going to Washington DC on a bilateral visit within a few weeks of Trump administration coming to power. Prime Minister Modi is going to Paris to attend the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit on 10 and 11 February.

Let us know that Donald Trump had imposed 25 percent tariff on Canada and Mexico on Sunday and he has imposed a 10 percent tariff on China. However, later he banned the tariffs imposed on Mexico and Canada for some time. In a conversation with Donald Trump on 27 February, both of them talked about focusing on reliable partnership and working towards boosting the Indo-US trade.

After the phone conversation, the White House said that Donald Trump emphasized the importance of increasing the purchase of US -made security equipment and moving towards fair bilateral trade relations. India has already made it clear that it wants to work with America in the field of energy, especially in the clean energy sector.
