Raid on the premises of District Education Officer of Bihar.

Bihar Vigilance team has been raiding many places in Bihar including the residence of District Education Officer Rajnikant Praveen since morning. Four vigilance teams are raiding his house in Darbhanga, Madhubani, Bettiah, and Samastipur and other places. This raid has been done on the instructions of ADG Pankaj Kumar Darad of Bihar Special Surveillance Unit. Crores of rupees in cash have been recovered from their hideouts. The amount is so much that a machine has been called to count it.
Cash worth crores, note counting machine ordered
Along with cash worth crores, movable and immovable property has also been recovered from their hideouts. Search operations and raids at their locations are still going on. So much money has been recovered from the house of the District Education Officer that it is becoming difficult to even count. The raid is continuing since morning. No one is allowed to go inside or come out of the house. Vigilance team is present at his house for the last several hours. Let us tell you that District Education Officer Rajnikant Praveen has been posted in Bettiah for the last 3 years. This raid is going on in his office also.
More than Rs 1.87 crore recovered from home so far
Let us tell you that Rajnikanth Praveen is the District Education Officer of West Champaran. Vigilance team is raiding more than three of his locations. This action is going on against him in the disproportionate assets case. Teachers’ organizations had also accused him of corruption. According to the information revealed, assets worth more than Rs 1.87 crore have been detected so far from Rajnikanth Praveen’s hideouts. He is accused of having assets worth around Rs 3 crore.
