रक्षाबंधन के कुछ नियम इस प्रकार हैं:

•  राखी बांधने से पहले बहनों को स्नान करना चाहिए और साफ-सुथरे कपड़े पहनने चाहिए।

रक्षाबंधन की कथा

रक्षाबंधन की कथा के अनुसार, देवराज इंद्र को राक्षसों से हार का सामना करना पड़ रहा था। तब उनकी पत्नी इंद्राणी ने भगवान शिव की आराधना की और उन्हें प्रसन्न किया। भगवान शिव ने इंद्राणी को एक रक्षासूत्र दिया और कहा कि इस रक्षासूत्र को बांधने से इंद्र को राक्षसों पर विजय प्राप्त होगी। इंद्राणी ने इस रक्षासूत्र को अपने पति इंद्र की कलाई पर बांध दिया और इंद्र को राक्षसों पर विजय प्राप्त हुई।

Story of Raksha Bandhan

According to the legend of Raksha Bandhan, Devraj Indra was facing defeat from the demons. Then his wife Indrani worshiped Lord Shiva and pleased him. Lord Shiva gave a rakshasutra to Indrani and said that by tying this rakshasutra, Indra would get victory over the demons. Indrani tied this Rakshasutra on the wrist of her husband Indra and Indra got victory over the demons.
