The makers have released the first look of the actress from the upcoming film ‘Chhaava’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna. In the poster, the actress plays the role of Queen Yesubai of the Maratha Empire. While sharing the first look of Rashmika Mandanna on the social media platform, Maddock Films wrote in the caption, “Behind every great king stands a powerful queen. The introduction of Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai is the pride of Swarajya.” The actress looked royal in the poster. She was seen in Marathi bindi with red saree, gold jewellery, green bangles.

Rashmika also shared the poster on her Instagram handle and told that the trailer of ‘Chhaava’ will be released on Wednesday. Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel ‘Chhaava’. Akshay Khanna will be seen in an important role in the film directed by Laxman Utekar. Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam, Santosh Juvekar and Pradeep Rawat are also in important roles.

Vicky and Rashmika starrer ‘Chhaava’ will be released in theaters on February 14. Maddock Films has produced ‘Chhaava’. Music AR Rahman has given. Cinematography is by Saurabh Goswami, while Manish Pradhan has handled the editing work.

Talking about Rashmika Mandanna’s work front, the actress has Salman Khan starrer ‘Sikander’, directed by A.R. Murugadoss has done it. Along with this, the actress also has ‘Thama’. Ayushmann Khurrana is in the lead role with Rashmika in ‘Thama’ which is ready for release. The film has been directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.
