The Dharavi Redeveloopment Project has completed the record of over 50,000 door-to-door survey. It aims to convert Asia’s largest slum into a modern urban center. The world’s largest redevelopment project built at a cost of three billion dollars in Dharavi, Mumbai by Adani Group is getting huge support locally.
The latest number of surveys have been mentioned the most in the history of the Mumbai Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA), which is a major incentive for survey teams and Dharavi residents, who are eager to pursue redevelopment.
Numbering of 85 thousand houses completed
According to the latest survey data, the number of 85 thousand houses has been completed, while more than 50,000 houses have been surveyed from house to house. Elect 1.5 lakh houses will be rehabilitated, so that the dignity of the people of Dharavi will be rehabilitated. Better housing, infrastructure and economic opportunities will be ensured while maintaining.
Dharavi Revolution Project changed the name
In December last year, the Dharavi Revolution Project Private Limited (DRPP) changed the name to Navbharat Mega Developers Private Limited (NMDPL), which is in line with the promise of the company’s modern, inclusive and lively community. Residents will not be placed in high slums, but will be placed in a well -employed township, which will have appropriate facilities such as wide roads, green places and proper water and sewage systems. These townships will have multi-model transport centers.
NMDPL is a special purpose -established company (SPV), which has been created as a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and Adani Group. The name Navbharat, which means “New India”, reflects the immense potential of this project to shape a better tomorrow.
