Bhajan Singh Rana, the auto rickshaw driver who took actor Saif Ali Khan to the hospital in an injured condition, while talking to IANS, told how the actor and his family called him to meet him and showed him a lot of respect. During this, Saif Ali Khan also praised the work of the rickshaw puller. Saif had met Rana before being discharged from the hospital. Bhajan Singh told that Saif thanked the rickshaw puller for taking him to the hospital and asked him to tell him openly if he ever needed anything. Along with Saif Ali, his mother Sharmila Tagore also expressed gratitude to Bhajan Singh Rana.
Rana told that Saif’s family gave him respect. He said, “I got a call from Saif. However, I was late in reaching. When I reached there, Saif sir as well as his family members present there showed me a lot of respect. I also took a selfie with him.” Rana told that Saif Ali Khan not only thanked but also offered help. He said, “I am happy that I helped them, it is a big thing for me and I feel proud. Saif Ali Khan has said that if you ever need any help, please tell openly.”
Along with this, Rana also mentioned the night of the incident and said, “When I was driving the auto that night, Saif was feeling pain due to shock due to the breaker present on the road. He had said, ‘I am feeling tremors, drive slowly.’ He was in a lot of pain due to the shock.” The driver further said, “I had received a call to meet Saif Ali Khan. His family members including his mother Sharmila Tagore thanked me. I also told him that I pray that you get well soon. On this he said, ‘You have done very good work and keep doing like this.’ His family respected me a lot.”
During the conversation, Bhajan Singh also revealed that he does not watch much TV and movies. That’s why he could not recognize the other family members who met Saif in the hospital. Even when Saif was being taken to the hospital in his auto in an injured condition, Bhajan Singh did not know that the injured person was Saif Ali Khan.
