According to the Mumbai police, during the investigation, accused Mohammad Shahzad said that Saif had entered the house of Saif Ali Khan when actor Shah Rukh Khan failed in the theft. The accused also said that he needed money to get Indian documents made. According to Mumbai Police, accused Shahzad has made another confession, in which he said that he had tried to steal in actor Shah Rukh Khan’s house too. However, he failed there. Because of this, he planned to steal in another house. The accused said that he needed money. He had to get some documents made.

The accused told during interrogation that someone had promised to make Indian documents and demanded money from him. The accused told the police that he needed money to get Aadhaar card and other documents made, for which he had planned to steal. Police said that the person is being searched, who promised to give him a document.

Police is looking for a person named Khukumoni Jahangir Sheikh. According to the information, Jahangir Sheikh had given a SIM card to Shahzad, accused of attack on Saif. The SIM card recovered from the accused to the Mumbai Police is named after Khukumoni Jahangir Sheikh.
