The pair of filmmaker Suraj Barjatya and superstar Salman Khan have come together and the film has made a record at the box office. Hot films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Hum Saath Hain, are examples of this. However, in the 2006 film Vivah, Suraj Barjatya did not cast Salman. The reason behind this decision has recently revealed by Suraj Barjatya. In a conversation with digital commentary, Suraj Barjatya told why he chose Shahid instead of Salman.
