Second case of Monkey’s second case came up in Pakistan, effective measures are being taken to protect people

Pakistan’s Sindh Health Department has confirmed another case of MonkeyPox (MPOx) in Karachi, which is the first case of the disease in the city. ARY News gave this information on Saturday. A 28 -year -old male patient, a resident of Shah Latif Town, has a virus infection after seeing symptoms in his wife. The patient’s wife traveled abroad.

After this, the infected person has been kept in the isolation ward so that these harmful infections do not spread in others. ARY News said that earlier on 25 January, Pakistan had registered the first case of MonkeyPox in 2025. According to a spokesman for Pakistan’s Health Ministry, the patient returned from Dubai was identified during a screening at Peshawar Airport on 24 January.

The patient has been taken to Services Hospital in Peshawar for treatment. According to ARY News, the total number of MPOX cases in Pakistan has increased to 10 since the health emergency has been declared with this latest case. Pakistan’s Health Ministry has said that effective measures are being taken to protect people from MPOx. The patient has been detected to be connected to Gulf countries from travel history, which has increased concerns about the spread of the virus.

Earlier, a passenger traveling from Sharjah showed symptoms of the monkeypox during medical screening. According to airport sources, a traveler named Javed Ahmed, who traveled from Sharjah, has been found to have symptoms of the monkey. Ahmed, a resident of Rajanpur, was taken to the isolation ward as a precaution. Medical officials have said that the matter is worrisome and they are taking strict precaution.

MonkeyPox is a viral disease caused by the MPOx virus. The disease usually starts with a rash on the face 1 to 3 days after fever and then spreads to other parts of the body. According to ARY News reports, the rash goes through several stages such as vesicles, mcCules, paps, potules and crusts. Additional symptoms may include tiredness, swollen lymph nodes, headaches and exhaustion.
