Steve harmison said jasprit bumrah best in world: Former England fast bowler Steve Hormison has described a great equality between India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, which insisted on not being able to replace the fast bowler. Hormison believes that Bumrah’s upcoming ICC Champions Trophy is the same as the FIFA World Cup without Ronaldo.

India’s group-stage campaign includes matches against Bangladesh (20 February), Pakistan (23 February) and New Zealand (2 March). If India moves forward, the semi -finals will take place on March 4 and 5, while the final will be on 9 March. Whether Bumrah will be ready till then, it is uncertain.
Bumrah was in great form during India’s recent five -match Test series in Australia, where he took 32 wickets and was chosen as Player of the Series. However, on the last day of the series in Sydney, he sat outside due to a back injury, while Australia won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
The Indian fast bowler has faced the problem of injury earlier. Bumrah had previously been out of international cricket for about a year from September 2022 to August 2023 due to back surgery. In view of their fitness concerns, India will take care in bringing them back in haste.
