
Punjab farmers protest: The farmers sitting on a dharna on the Shambhu border of Punjab-Haryana have been removed for 13 months over the demands including the minimum support price (MSP). The police removed the temporary platform built by the farmers on the Shambhu border. The tents made for farmers to stay have also been removed. About 200 farmers including farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallawal, Saravan Singh Pandher have been detained. SSP of Patilaya said- removed after appropriate warning in the presence of magistrate
On the police action on the Punjab-Haryana Shambhu border, SSP Nanak Singh of Patiala said, “The farmers were protesting at the Shambhu border for a long time. Today in the presence of the duty magistrate, the police vacated the area after giving them a proper warning. Some people expressed their desire to go home. So they were sent home and sent home.”
Apart from this, the police officer further said that the structures and vehicles here are being removed. The entire road will be cleaned and opened for traffic. Union Minister condemns the action of Punjab government
Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu said that the Punjab Police was detained by the farmer leaders, “I condemn this action of the Punjab government. He (AAP government) voted. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should be ashamed … He (AAP government) did not want any solution to be found out of the conversation between the central government and the farmers.

Punjab Congress President and MP Amarinder Singh Raja Wading said on the detained by farmer leader Saravan Singh Pandher, “The Center always talks about separation of the farmer. What is the incident today, when the farmers came out after meeting, the police of Punjab took them into custody. Both Central Government and AAP want to separate the farmers of Punjab.
The Congress MP further said that the state government and the BJP government are cheating on the farmers of Punjab today. Everything can be solved through conversation. If there is any objection to the farmers, then the Congress party will stand with them first. “
