Veteran actor and TMC MP Shatrughan Sinha condemned the incident of knife attack on Saif Ali Khan and called it unfortunate. He wrote on the social media platform Please stop the blame game, the police is doing its job well. We certainly appreciate the concern and remedial measures taken by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Don’t do it. The matter will be resolved soon, the sooner the better.”

Shatrughan Sinha further wrote in the post, “Thank you to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and our friend Eknath Shinde for their kind words, utmost care and efforts. After all Saif is one of the most brilliant stars and is also a Padma Shri and National Award winner.
