Read the review of Sky Force movie released today i.e. 24th January in Hindi…

The story of Sky Force is based on the 1965 war between India and Pakistan in which a squadron leader went missing. This was Squadron Leader AB Devaiah whose character is played on screen by Veer Pahadia. The film starts with a flashback and at the beginning comes the war of 1971. Martyr AB Devaiah is at the center of the story, but his story is rarely seen in the film. An Air Force hero and his life get very little space. Whereas this film is based on the same. This is what keeps getting stuck. Barring a few scenes, this patriotic film does not give any goosebumps. Then the director’s focus has been to take the story forward through Akshay Kumar. Of course, OP Taneja is important in Devaiah’s story, but if there was more Devaiah’s story in the film and less of Akshay’s, then this film could have been lethal.

Veer Pahadia has done a decent job on the acting front. Then in the films made on Air Force, there is not much opportunity for expression or acting during the fight. Akshay Kumar is the same in every frame. Be it 1965 or 1980s. Even his long dialogues are not effective. Akshay has failed to make an impact. The roles of Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur are very minor.

Those who are fond of watching films based on patriotism can definitely watch this film once. An excerpt from AB Devaiah’s inspirational story can also be seen in it. If you want to see something new and very deep related to patriotism, then Sky Force will not come true.
