In Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, a notice has been issued to Samajwadi Party MLA Zahid Baig in the illegal filler of Garhhi pond. This notice has been sent on the basis of allegations that the MLA and others together have encroached the land of the government pond and built big houses. The Garhhi pond, located near the Muslim township, was spread over about 1 bigha 7 Biswa region, which was gradually converted into private property.
Along with the MLAs, 30 other people have a hand in this illegal possession, who carried out this work with the connivance of government employees.
