Earlier, wicketkeeper batsman Ishaan Kishan scored his first century of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 in his first match for the new franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) against Rajasthan Royals at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Sunday. During his innings of 106 runs in his unbeaten 47 balls, Kishan hit 11 fours and six sixes during his innings, making Sunrisers Hyderabad a score of 286 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs.

Ishaan Kishan’s double blast

Ishaan Kishan made a double blast with a stormy century against Rajasthan, Ishaan Kishan became the first batsman to score a century for Hyderabad and also became the first player of the Hyderabad team to score a century against Rajasthan Royals team.

It was also the second largest team score in IPL history SRH, which was one run less than SRH’s score against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the previous season. Apart from them, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Henriqu Klassen scored 30 and 34 runs respectively, which led to the weak bowling attack of Rajasthan.

Ishaan Kishan scored 320 runs for Mumbai Indians with a half -century in the previous season. Ishaan was bought by SRH for Rs 11.25 crore, which was the most expensive purchase made by the franchise in the auction in Jeddah last year.
