Stock Market Today: Pre-Buddha rally has started appearing in the stock market. Today i.e. on January 28, the Indian stock market made a great start with an edge. The BSE Sensex is trading at 75,782.26 with a gain of 416.09 points (0.55%), while the Nifty 50 index rose by 106.30 points (0.47%) to 22,935.45.
The two -day meeting of the US Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), starting today and union budget to be presented on 1 February, starts on 2025.
All shares of Adani Group opened with gains
At the same time, all the shares of Adani Group opened with an edge on the green mark today. In early trade, Adani Energy Solutions, and Cement Company ACC shares saw the highest rise. Both these shares were trading up more than 1 percent. Apart from this, flagship company Adani Enterprises, Adani, Green Energy, Adani Power, Adani Wilmer were also trading with an edge.
How was the condition of the sectoral index?
The PSU bank index was the biggest lead among all the sectors. Apart from this, Nifty Bank, Financial Services and Realty Index were also trading with a gain of about 1%. IT, metal and private bank index were also seen in the green mark.
In today’s trading session, the Nifty Bank gained 518.15 points to open at 48,582.80 above 1.08%. The Nifty Midcap 100 rose by 212.85 points, or 0.41% and opened at 52,008.75. Similarly, the Nifty Midcap 50 started trading at 14,473.85 with a gain of 46.80 points with a gain of 0.32%. The Nifty Smallcap 50 was also trading at 7,789.30 with a gain of 11.40 points i.e. 0.15%.
Shopping in banking sector
Shopping in the banking sector strengthened the market. At the beginning of the business, Axis Bank rose by 1.74% to Rs 964 and was among the best performing shares. In addition, the shares of IndusInd Bank, Infosys and Bajaj Finance rose by 1.3–1.5%. Shares of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finserv were also trading with more than 1% gain.
Top Gainers and Louquars
The top gainers of Sensex in the morning trading included Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. At the same time, UltraTech Cement, Powergrid, NTPC, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), and Sun Pharma were the top loosers. The top gainers of Nifty 50 included Shriram Finance, Wipro, Axis Bank, Infosys and HDFC Bank. At the same time, the top losis included Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy, Cipla, Mahindra & Mahindra and Grassim.
