Stock Market Opening: The Indian stock market opened flat on 1 January 2025. Minor fluctuations were seen in Nifty 50 and Sensex in the first trading session of the new year. In the pre-opening session, BSE Sensex opened at 78,265.07 today, with a rise of 126.06 points or 0.16%, while NIFTY 50 opened at 23,637.65 today, with a fall of 7.15 points or 0.03%.

In early trade around 9:41 am, BSE Sensex was down 201.94 points, or 0.26%, at 77,937.07. Nifty50 fell by 15 points, or 0.06%, and was trading at 23,630.

Today many shares of Adani Group are trading in the green. In which the highest rise has been seen in the shares of Adani Wilmar. This stock has risen by more than 4.30 percent today. At 9.36 am, Adani Enterprises was trading up by 1.48%, Adani Green Energy by 1.33%, Adani Energy Solutions by 0.94%, Adani Power by 0.53% and NewsDeskReport by 2.05%.
