Today, on Thursday, May 22, the stock market started with weakness. At 9:32 am, the BSE Sensex fell 779.34 points i.e. 0.96% to 80,817.30, while the Nifty also saw a decline of 239.05 points, or 0.96% and was trading at 24,574.40.
Tremendous boom in Adani Group shares
Despite the decline in the market, most of the shares of Adani Group were seen trading on the green mark.
Close to 9 o’clock in the morning:
- Shares of Adani Ports rose by Rs 19.60, or 1.42% to Rs 1,404.20.
- Shares of Adani Power rose by Rs 7.75, or 1.41% and reached Rs 559.00.
- Adani Energy Solutions are also trading at Rs 10.70, or 1.23% to Rs 882.85.
- NDTV shares climbed Rs 2.26 i.e. Rs 1.46% and reached Rs 156.62.
The condition of the rest of the shares
Flagship company Adani Enterprises is trading at Rs 2,515.50 with a gain of Rs 15.10 i.e. 0.60%. Adani Green Energy has a slight rise of Rs 4.50 i.e. 0.45% and it reached Rs 1,001.00. Shares of Adani Total GAS rose to Rs 1.60 i.e. 0.24%. It was seen
On the previous day i.e. Tuesday, the market was gaining momentum. The BSE Sensex climbed 410.19 points i.e. 0.51% to close at 81,596.63. Nifty 50 also closed at 24,813.45 with a gain of 129.55 points i.e. 0.52%.
