A horrific hit and run accident has taken place in Taloja MIDC area of Navi Mumbai, in which a speeding driver crushed two people with his car. In this accident, one person died on the spot, while the other was seriously injured. A CCTV video of the accident has also surfaced.
It is seen in the video that a woman was walking on the side of the road and a young man was also going on the same path. Suddenly a car comes from behind at high speed and hits both of them so hard that they fall a long distance. In this accident, 27-year-old Lalu Das died on the spot, while 44-year-old Pramila Das was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition, where she is fighting between life and death.
Taloja police has arrested the car driver accused of hit and run and his interrogation is ongoing. A few days ago, a Skoda car had similarly hit a scooter coming on fire, in which two girls lost their lives.
On December 26 also, a 6-year-old child was crushed by a car in Vasai near Mumbai. CCTV footage shows that the car hits the child, drags him and then crushes him with the rear wheel.
