The trailer of Netflix’s upcoming documentary The Roshans has been released on Hrithik Roshan’s 51st birthday. The documentary traces the legacy of the Roshan family, from composer Roshan to his sons Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan and grandson Hrithik Roshan. The 3-minute trailer starts with Hrithik Roshan playing his grandfather Roshan’s cassette. The actor says, “This is my grandfather’s voice. His full name was Roshan Lal Nagrath. It is a very interesting story how our surname changed from Nagrath to Roshan.”
The trailer further focuses on two brothers, who have inherited the talent of music, acting and filmmaking from their father. From Roshan to Hrithik Roshan – a family that has seen heights of success across generations. But he also had to pay the price of success. The trailer also draws the audience’s attention to the time when Rakesh Roshan was shot by two Budesh gang members near his office on Tilak Road in Santa Cruz, Mumbai in 2000.
Many star cameos are also going to be seen in the trailer, including Asha Bhosle, Shatrughan Sinha, Shahrukh Khan Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Anu Malik, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prem Chopra, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor will also be seen in the show about the Roshan family.
